Jasmeet Chana - Tabla (Percussions)
At the tender age of 7, Jasmeet Chana pursued his childhood hobby of the tabla under guidance of his family. Playing on stage with his family, Jasmeet became increasingly comfortable with playing in front of audiences at such a young age. His first professional debut was with his brother Hardeep and close family friend, Shamsher Singh (Tabla Vadhik) at the age of thirteen.
Having been raised with such talent with the Tabla, Jasmeet is able to express his developed skill. Often the center of the attention, Jasmeet has attracted and inspired the youth to Sangeet by mixing both Western and Eastern beats on these unique Persian drums. Jasmeet is a Sophomore in High School and has had multiple offers to travel alongside musical artists to play across the globe, a true inspiration for all generations.
Jasmeet has had the opportunity to learn and listen to some of the greatest teachers of this time. Fluent in Pakhavaji bols and Tabla bols from a variety of gharanas, Jasmeet has inspired many and is amongst one of the most admired percussionists of his time.
Hardeep Chana - Gayak, Taus & Sitar (Vocal and Strings)
A talented musician by the tender age of three years, Hardeep inspires youth and adult alike with his many musical gifts. Hardeep's knowledge about Gurmat and Hindustani Classical Sangeet has led him to become one of the most renowned musicians of his age. His many gifts include playing such instruments as the Taus, Sitar, Tabla and more.
Hardeep, predominantly self-taught, had the chance of learning from various artists and teachers including many in his own family. These teachers include the late, Bhai Avtar Singh Ji (Delhi), Professor Ranjit Singh (California) and Ustad Iqbal Hussain (Karachi).
Starting off with vocals, Hardeep performed at his temple at the ripe age of three, and has grown to perform both vocal and instrumental pieces for all different events. With seven years of Violin, four years of Taus and Dilruba, as well as a lifetime of Vocal training Hardeep's broadened knowledge and talent has led to aspire younger and older musicans alike to pursue their musical endeavors and to continue Riyaz (practice) through compassionate music.
